Klorofil Platform 0.2 is an open source PHP based platform built to ease and accelerate web based and desktop GUI (non web based) application development using PHP programming language. The platform was developed by Klorofil Collaboration Project (Klorofil). It is an open source project initiated by Saltanera Teknologi, an e-business solution provider company. The goal of the project is to build a new PHP enterprise-level application development and deployment environment. Klorofil Platform 0.2 by Saltanera Teknologi made available by Saltanera under Common Public License version 1.0 (CPL). It is an open source license which has been approved by Open Source Initiative. Some of its features are: (1) Multi Platform. Currently, Klorofil Platform freeware supports Windows and Linux operating system. In the future, the platform will support more operating systems. (2) GUI framework for desktop application development named as gambArt. gambArt let developers developing a non-web (GUI desktop) applications easily using PHP, a programming language which is widely used and widely known for web application development. (3) Web application framework named as Semok. The framework helps PHP developer developing a robust, secure web based application easily. (4) Distributed computing framework named as Televoke. (5) Class libraries: I/O, XML, SMS, e-mail, HTTP, socket, etc. This library eases developer's job. Developer can easily use classes available in Klorofil Platform 0.2 download. They don't have to write commonly used classes or try to find it in the internet. It will save much of their valuable time. (6) Database abstraction layer which supports Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. (7) Byte compiler. This feature let developers encode their PHP source code. Developers will be able to distribute their PHP application to their clients without revealing the code to the client. (8) And many more features. In the future Klorofil will provide 3D library, documentation automation system, GUI builder, and PHP Application Server.
