Use this simple weight watchers points calculator to calculate your points for your weight watchers program. It can be stored on your local PC or laptop. It follows the rules of the weight watchers program and calculates your points based on your imput of the calories, total fat grams and dietary fibre.
Each item of food has certain points allocated to it based on its nutritional value. More fat increases the points and more fibre reduces the points value.
A study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, funded by Weight Watchers, found people who followed the Weight watchers Points program for two years lost an average of six pounds. Hard working participants - who attended at least 78 percent of the weekly meetings - lost an average of 11 pounds after two years on the program.
